My Dream Country

From young, i have always wanted to go to Australia. This was one of my fav country. Don't ask me why, cause i also don't know. So many countries out there, i just want to go Australia. Dont know if i have a chance to go anot.

Last few years i thought i have a chance to go, as my childhood friend said she wanted to go. But end up not going as she unable to apply leave. I was damm disappointed, i cant find any friend that want to go as most of them have been to australia before and have no intention to go again. So i could only give up my hope.

If compare Korea to Australia, i would rather go to Australia. I wanted to visit Gold Coast, Perth. Can go visit the nottis too.

Hubby want to go taiwan again. I am ok lal cause i love taiwan too. After that our flat will come, don't think we will have much money left to go Australia. Will i still have a chance to go? I just hope before i am too old i still have a chance to go Australia for a visit.

When do you want a baby?

People are asking when you want to have a baby? You are not young anymore, don’t have baby too late. Actually we knows, I also worry I will be too old to have a baby. Hubby have his own plan, wait for our flat to come, move in for a few months than try for a baby. At 1st i dont quite agree with him, as we all know, things dont alway goes as you plan. You want that period to have a baby doesnt means you will get it. I have heard many people talking about it.

Most are the same, have planning, but when try, its often different from what they plan, when they are trying to have a baby, its wasn’t successful, later on they give up on the idea and they got pregnant. At 1st they feel rather lost as they decide to stop trying for the time-being. Now they accept the fact they are going to be parents. I even know 1 girl, she was pregnant, she didnt want to have it as she feel she wasnt ready, her hubby feel since pregnant than just give birth. But the girl mind set was "NO", she really wasnt ready to be a mum, i think she end up eating too much medicine and the baby was gone. I wasnt very close to her so i didnt ask her about what actually had happened. But i feel its really sad, there are some who are trying hard but just couldnt get a baby. Maybe she really not ready to be a mummy and she is still quite young,not mature at all.

Hubby's ponit of view is that if I get pregnant now, it will be difficult for us as old people will say cannot do this cannot do that. We might get our flat this year, if I am pregnant I will not be able to move house etc… I believe we have many things to do on reno, buying of furniture and how we want to display our things. So its best to wait for all these to settle 1st. Move in than try to have a baby.

Money also plays a part. Its not easy and we need to spend quite alot on house. We need some time to rest awhile, having kids isnt going to be easy. I agree with him, although many voices saying no good for me, because of my age. But its not that simple, now its totally out of the question. With me just switch to a new job and still under probation, its totally impossible.

Even after confirmation, I cant right away get pregnant. At least afew months more. By that time i may have move in to my new house, than it will be the right time. Its also not very convinent for me now, i dont want to carry a big tummy to squeeze and push into the bus 965! Now i can squeeze and push my way in, run after bus, wait for bus till my blood vessel want to explode. Can i still squeeze and push my way into the bus with a big tummy?

As long as I move into my new flat in punggol, it will be easy for me. The company I work in provide transport from Sengkang, so I only need to travel by mrt from punggol to sengkang. In the morning, hubby can send to to Sengkang, at night I will go back by myself. I can even walk back to punggol. So in the end no matter what others say, we will continue to stick to our plan. Will i get pregnant anot by than, i will not think so much, let nature takes its course. If its mine, it will be mine.

I want to be a lollipop girl

Yesterday noon, a ang mo manager bring some of us out for lunch. Of cause we go, not wanting to eat the same food from the carteen. So once there is a chance to go out, we will go. While we were out we need to speak in english as we have a ang mo with us. But while talking the channel will automatic change from channel 5 to channel 8. :) The manager will just give you the "What are you talking about face." But over all he is quite a nice guy.

While he was driving, we happen to see a worker holding a "GO" sign, his job was to stand there and hold the "GO" sign. The manager told us in Australia this is call the lollipop man, 1 year he can earn up to S$35,000 (converted from Australia dollar). Because his english too good i cant confirm if i heard wrongly, i remember hearing him say convert to Sing dallor is S$125,000. Did i hear wrongly? Or he said S$35,000? I remember he said per annual earn that much. The amount was huge that we all "WOW!!!" Every ones mouth form a "O" shape.

He said if you work in Australia, no one will scold you, unlike in Singapore you will alway get scolded over little things. Min than asked him why he want to come here work, he did reply, but we didnt manage to understand what he is talking about. Actually i have a difficult time trying to understand them, they are speaking too fast and their english too powerful. He talk alot but most of the time, i dont know what he is talking about. whenever the directors talk to me, i wanted to run away, i couldnt catch what they are trying to say. When i told them sorry can you please slow down, i dont really understand, they will say "Oh i am sorry, i am tying to tell you...bleh bleh bleh..." I think i really need to go for english lesson.

Back to the lollipop topic, I told him I would like to go Australia and be a lollipop girl. Standing there and earn so much. Hey, i really dont mind to be a lollipop girl. Can you earn this amount in Singapore just by holding a "GO" sign? In Singapore you can never earn this amount if you don’t have much working experience and do not hold AT LEAST a Diploma cert. I think now a diploma holder can no longer get a decent pay job. With so many Degree holders around, how are you going to compete with them?

I really find it hard to believe. Just holding the sign can earn so much? If its true, than how much does the bangladesh earn in Singapore for standing there holding the sign? I don’t earn so much per annual, less than S$25,000. Am I too lowly paid? Anyway my change of job pay wasnt very much different. But my ex colleauge change of job pay was quite a big difference. But if want to compare to the pay that manager said....we can only say "HAIZ.... this is Singapore!" If you stay here you can only accept the fact, its either take it or leave it. No wonder everyones trying to get out of here. I wonder will i see this scenario that all singaporeans left here and here leftover are all FTS.

Just yesterday morning, when I was in the bus to Sengkang, a PRC quarrel with an old uncle as the uncle accidently touched him while standing. Uncle was very angry and told him off, he said :"bus was moving, with so many people standing, sure will have movements. You dont have to shout at me! You think i like to touch you! You come to our country stand on our land and shout at me? " The PRC didnt comment annymore but just stare at the uncle. Even old uncle also fed up with them. Since he dont like people to accidently touch him, he can consider travel by CAB! Dont travel by bus.

Recently my god-sister asked me if I know how to get the australian pr. Since I have friends moving to Australia, I might have some information. Another one trying to get out of Singapore. I agree with what she told me, and i understand too as we all face almost the very same problems! People are really unhappy here, unhappy to the extent of leaving for good! Soon all the people around me 1 by 1 trying to leave. I did think of leaving too, but its just thinking. When you are very angry, sick n tired of everything here. Its either leave or stay and keep quiet. Currently there is nothing you can do. Only to grumble and vent our angers complaining. After that, please go back and do your work! :p

Haiz……now can only continue to slog n slog……and do more OT if you need $$.

Taking package of Free n Easy

We are planning to go taiwan again, and hopefully if everything goes as we plan. We will be visiting taiwan this year in Sep. We don’t know by than will we get our keys from HDB. But we believe it wont be so fast, looking at its currentstatus, its still so slow and we dont want to look at it anymore. No point keep checking when they dont want to hurry up.

I am now waiting for my probation period to be over. I need to wait till 27 May than my probation period will be over. This month end I will be getting my 2nd pay heehee…Hopefully everything goes as we planned. After this trip, don’t think we can go for long trip within few years. With flat coming, moving in, many things coming soon. So its best to go travel now while we still can go.

I am plannig to go on Sat and back on next Sat, a total of 8 days. As I do not wish to take too many days of leave, if I go on Sat and return on next sat, I will only take a total of 5 days leave. Back on sat i can still have 1 day to rest before going back to work on Mon. Well, since I have been to taiwan before, why taiwan again? Because i love Taiwan!

There are still many parts of taiwan I havent been before, this visit I would like to go to Kending, Taizhong, Hualian, Ri Yue Tang, Jiu Fen and of cause Taipei. Now the only thing is that not sure want to take up package tour or free n easy again. If go for free n easy, i would need to do alot of homework which i dont have so much time to do now. If i dont do i dont think anyone can help me to do the planning.

It takes a lot of time to plan the itinerary, you need to plan, check the location, available hotel, transportation… If take up package, I wont need to do anything, just pay money. But usually people prefer free n easy, taking package may not be cheaper, they also will bring you to some places which you do not wish to visit, but its include in the package, you have to go and you
wont really enjoy yourself. Taking up free n easy, you can plan your itinerary your way, when reach taiwan, go straight to Kending 1st, than to Taizhong, Ri Yue Tang, next Hualian, Next to taipei, and you can plan your hotspring trip, shopping time, eat any time you want etc...

We are still deciding now, not very sure how, no matter how we need to wait till june before we can decide. Maybe if I have the time, I will slowly do my itinerary first. At least in the end if want to take up free n easy, I don’t need to rush to do it. My 1st taiwan trip i have been to Gaoxiong, so i can dont need to go there again. Anyway, who got a itinerary to borrow me? Heehee...Itinerary must include transportation and maps.

Desaru Trip Apr 2012

We went to desaru on Good friday for a 2D1N trip. With our couple friends and hubby's cousin family. It took us 2 hr plus to clear the custom as it was super jam. Due to long weekend, everyone wants to go for a short trip. Went to have some breakfast than we proceed to our destination.

We reach there around 2 plus, checked in, we stay in Pulai beach resort while my friends stay in Lotus Beach Resort. Its just next door, 5 mins walk. But Lotus was much cheaper than Pulai. We went to walk around taking pictures. My hubby didnt really like it there as the sea water was not the clear type. I told him to go Phuket if he wants clear water heehee... At around 6 plus we drove off to another place for dinner. On the way, we could see the Sunset view...took a picture of it.

Our 2D1N trip ended, on our way back to Johor, we left at 9 plus, wanting to go KSL city for a walk. As we feel theres nothing much to do in desaru, its quite a boring place. Actually wanted to relax, but in the end i dont feel i really relaxed and dont have the holiday feel.

The end of our trip, back to Singapore! Should have planned to go other place like Malacca or KL. Next time if there is long weekend, must really plan properly. No matter how at least we get to eat many good foods. :)

A new friend joining me

Today there are 3 new staffs joining the company I worked in. One of them was my ex-colleuage Min from my ex company. Sometimes I feel fate is a miracle, its really amazing. Working in my ex company for so long, Min and me seldom chat on the phone, we know each other exist, but
didn’t know each other well. We were in the same company but different branch. We sort of like get to see each other when we go to our main office in orchard, but same, didn’t talk much. As I am not that type that goes round talking to other people, I am not that out-going. I am quite shy,
I need people to talk to me 1st. But now I trying to make a head start 1st, but I always run out of topic as I don’t really know what to say. So that explain why both in the same company for so many years and don’t know each other well.

Until recently I found a job in my current company. Through my branch colleauge Chevig, I know she wanted to have a change too, and wanted to get my agent contact. I gave her my agent email address and she emailed her. I believe its fate, she came to the same company I work in for interview. At that time I couldn’t tell her much as I am very new, our position are different too. At that stage I am very scared, being in a few days only. She can only decide herself, same as me she wanted a normal 5 day work job, off on sat and sun. If thers a change why not try out! She is still so young, no need to be afraid. It will be a stepping stone for her, working in account side she will
get to learn a lot, good for her haha. She is going to earn a lot in furture.

Since than we did chat more often, in facebook too we will comment and even meet up haha, my hubby pattern, match making, I actually introduce a guy give Min? Yes I did it, kpo haha. Min feels ok, as she don’t mind having more friends. My hubby's friend feel the same too, so we all meet up for lunch, chit chat. Anyway just be friends mah, it they are fated to be together, no matter how will be together. If no chemistry, than be friends. No harm having another friend. From what I heard, both of them did watsapp each other later on…mmmm….

I told her I will meet her today, since its her 1st day of work. Shw will be taking the same transport as me in Sengkang. She told me she is very nervous, I can understand how she feel. I feel the same as her when I 1st come work, feeling so loss and scared. I think I was more afraid than her. She still have me to talk to, wont feel so lonely. When I 1st come I feel so alone, but
slowly I feel better. Although I still have some fears, I learn to relax and not to worry too much. Cause by worrying also wont help much, only make me more stress and wont look forward to come work. So, let nature take its course. As long I did my best, theres nothing much to worry about. Always remember see no evil, hear no evil.

Later i will bring Min out for lunch, told her to relax and not to worry, its her 1st day of work only. It just bring back all the memories, I keep complainnig how scared I was, notti trying to convince me, my hubby keepsms me to see if I am ok. I just feel so sacred I totally have no mood. It took to 2 weeks and more to slowing get use to it and not to be afraid. 1st step is always very scaring, but if you don't try, you will never know if you can do it anot. At least you try, no matter fail or success, you did your best and there is no regret. Good luck Min and myself, lets work hard together and do our best!

Our KL trip in 2011

Wow...2011, now than post..haha. I was being lazy. I booked this free n easy trip last year, travelling in dec. Staying in Hotel Capitol. This is the 2nd time we are staying in this hotel. Price wise not too expensive, room is clean, toilet is clean too. Location wise was good too. Very near to Times square and many other shopping centres.

Behind the hotel, there are many stalls selling great food. !st, have a look at the room, i booked Deluxe room, price i forgetton. Room rather big.

Depends with view you got, 1st time i get to see the twin towers, the 2nd stay, i didnt get this view. But its all right for me. Only that my side downstair there is a band, at night will be quite noisy, if possible request for high floor room.

Time to eat!! There are lots of nice food in KL.

Buffet time! Why my hubby so happy eating in KL, Singapore have the same resturant. But the price...so much different. If you pay $30 per pax in Singapore, you will pay RM30 per pax in KL. The food quality same.

There goes my 3D2N Kl trip. Alway the same reason, the last day was alway very reluctant. but still, have to go back. Back to reality!
